Me and my ambitions
I'm a pensioner and I like to invent things to keep myself busy. My garden shed is my workplace and my grandchildren are my testing audience. I studied poetry at university in Leeds and after graduating I decided to move to the northern area for good. It was here that I found my true love, Judie, who was working in a Leeds office space at the time. I remember the offices being very grand and felt a liitle intimidated when I used to walk in to see her. Judie was a typist for a accountancy firm and she really enjoyed working in such a pleasant working environment with her colleagues. We wanted somewhere a bit more active though, so we eloped off to New York, where Judie found a new job in a Manhattan office, I eventually became an English teacher so the people I used to spend the most time with were children in the primary school I taught at. However, when I retired, we moved back to England and I decided to take up my childhood passion for inventing things. I have a quick mind and love to generate ideas. But it's very difficult for people to take an old man seriously and I am often left trying to build things on my own without the chance of anyone ever seeing them. I'm using this site as an opportunity to explain my ambitions to the web-world and hoping that maybe someone out there will be interested.
Thanks for reading.
